Job summary

24 Hour Fitness in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an Operations Manager to lead front-line operations, oversee Club Attendants, Kids' Club Attendants, and Sales & Service Associates. You will manage schedules, timekeeping, and wage compliance while enhancing member experience.

You will drive retail performance, guest satisfaction, and safety, collaborating with the General Manager to ensure a welcoming, well-run club and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year supervisory or team lead experience.
• Experience building employee schedules and managing labor hours.
• Knowledge of wage-and-hour practices incl. meals/rest periods.
• Strong communication and coaching skills with a member-first mindset.
• Excellent organizational skills for fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with POS, scheduling/timekeeping systems, MS 365, and mobile tools.
• CPR/AED certification (incl. infant/child) or ability to obtain.
• Ability to obtain/state childcare certification and background clearance.
• Flexible schedule incl. mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Sales & Service Associates, Kids' Club Attendants, and Club Attendants.
• Onboard and train new team members on standards and timekeeping.
• Coach team members and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure wage-and-hour compliance and timecard accuracy.
• Lead front desk operations and member services.
• Drive club retail and customer sentiment.
• Oversee Kids' Club operations and safety.
• Maintain club cleanliness and safety.
