Job summary

24 Hour Fitness in Pleasanton is seeking an Operations Manager to partner with the General Manager, leading front-line teams and delivering an exceptional member experience. You will oversee front desk, Kids' Club, and club operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with wage-and-hour rules.

Responsibilities include staff development, scheduling, and performance coaching, plus driving retail and member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year supervisory experience in a fitness, hospitality, retail, or customer-service setting.
• Experience building employee schedules and managing labor hours to a budget.
• Working knowledge of wage-and-hour practices, including meal and rest periods and timekeeping.
• Proficient with POS, scheduling/timekeeping systems, Microsoft 365, and mobile/tablet tools.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Sales & Service Associates, Kids' Club Attendants, and Club Attendants; partner on recruiting and selection.
• Onboard and train new team members on service standards, club systems, safety procedures, and timekeeping.
• Coache team members, conduct performance conversations, and recommend actions to the General Manager.
• Manage weekly schedules, ensure compliant meal/rest periods, and verify timecard accuracy.
• Lead front desk operations, member check-in, and support for digital check-in and app.
• Drive club performance in retail and member sentiment; manage merchandising and inventory.
• Oversee Kids' Club operations and safety, with proper supervision ratios and training.
• Maintain facility cleanliness, safety procedures, and daily walk-throughs; coordinate with Facilities.
