Job summary

Planet Fitness seeks an Assistant Manager to oversee front desk operations and support the General Manager in daily club activities. The role requires strong multi-tasking, customer service excellence, and effective communication with management.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent (Associates preferred) and experience supervising in a fast-paced retail or hospitality setting. The position is in-person with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required (Associates degree preferred).
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel) and familiarity with MS Office.
• Experience supervising or managing in fast-paced retail or restaurant environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front desk personnel and support General Manager.
• Assist in interviewing and recruiting by conducting initial phone interviews.
• Monitor inventory and analyze sales data to drive performance improvements.
• Enforce company standards and maintain a clean, welcoming club environment.
• Mentor and develop Front End staff through training and performance reviews.
• Coordinate shift coverage and disciplinary actions with leadership and HR.
• Assist with club audits to ensure cleanliness and readiness.
