Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee front desk operations and support the General Manager. The role focuses on delivering exceptional member service, training front desk staff, and upholding Planet Fitness standards.

The ideal candidate will multi-task in a fast-paced environment, relate well with members and guests, and help drive club performance through effective team leadership and daily execution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
• 6 months supervisor or manager experience in restaurant or retail in high-volume setting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Weekday and/or weekend availability may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front desk personnel and assist General Manager.
• Monitor club metrics and communicate performance to improve results.
• Recruitment interviews for front desk staff and instructors.
• Manage inventory and review sales numbers with GM.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and brand standards across the club.
• Mentor front-end staff and support career development.
• Cover shifts when needed and assist with audits and disciplinary actions.
