Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee front desk and assist the General Manager at the Farragut club. You will manage front desk staff, ensure guest services and day-to-day operations run smoothly, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include interviewing, inventory monitoring, coordinating with HR, and mentoring front-end employees. The role requires a high school diploma, 6 months supervisory experience, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma Or Equivalent required (Associates degree preferred).
• 6 month Supervisor or Manager experience in a restaurant or retail environment in a high volume atmosphere.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel).
• Bi-lingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive club metrics in alignment with business performance.
• Develop knowledge of club services, programs, products and competitors.
• Assist in interviewing and recruitment with initial phone interviews for front desk and fitness instructors.
• Monitor inventory and review sales numbers with GM to identify opportunities and improve performance.
• Communicate and uphold company standards; lead by example for a clean, friendly club.
• Ensure front desk teams deliver punctuality, dress code compliance, friendliness and cleanliness.
• Mentor Front End employees for career growth through training and performance assessment.
• Coordinate disciplinary actions and terminations with GM, RM and HR.
