Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee front desk staff, support the General Manager, and ensure smooth front-of-house operations. You will drive member services, supervise a fast-paced team, and uphold club standards.

The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and a proactive approach to performance and customer service in a fitness environment. Training hours may vary; flexibility is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Experience as a supervisor/manager in a high-volume restaurant or retail environment (6 months minimum).
• Microsoft Word/Excel familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front desk personnel and assist General Manager.
• Monitor inventory and review sales figures with GM to identify opportunities.
• Ensure club cleanliness, organization, and daily operations run smoothly.
• Mentor front-end staff and manage shifts when needed.
• Coordinate disciplinary actions with GM/HR and oversee club audits.
