Planet Fitness seeks an Assistant Manager to oversee front desk personnel and assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations of a high-volume club. Focus on front-of-house activities, achieving club metrics, and delivering superior member service.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Bi-lingual preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or Equivalent required (Associates degree preferred).
• 6 month Supervisor or Manager experience in a restaurant or retail environment in a high-volume atmosphere.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Weekday and/or Weekend Hours based on club needs; open or flexible availability.

Responsibilities

• Drive club metrics in alignment with business performance.
• Develop knowledge of club services, programs and products; monitor competitors.
• Assist in interviewing and recruitment; conduct initial phone interviews.
• Monitor inventory and review sales numbers with GM; adjust execution as needed.
• Communicate and uphold company standards; lead by example for mission, vision and values.
• Ensure club is clean, friendly and well-maintained; supervise front desk and overnight staff.
• Mentor Front End employees to promote career growth through training and assessment.
• Coordinate disciplinary actions and terminations with GM, Regional Manager and HR.
• Cover shifts for call-outs; support club audits and overall operations.
