Job summary

Salesforce is seeking engineers for Monitoring Cloud to architect, implement, deliver and operate telemetry services that run in the public cloud at massive scale. You will own large portions of the vision, from agents emitting data to back-end processing and fast queries for insights.

Joining this team means collaborating with engineering, product and design to build reliable, highly available observability features, while contributing to release plans and sharing progress through tech talks

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy features to enhance observability services offered to Salesforce teams.
• Demonstrate effective service ownership by monitoring their own service and taking proactive actions when incidents happen.
• Interact with customers, understanding their requirements or issues and address them in a timely manner.
• Work with engineering and product leadership to evolve the feature roadmap by participating and contributing to release planning.
• Champion efforts to reduce engineering toil, by automating manual procedures and move code to config to enhance team productivity.
• Present your work at tech talks, cloud demos and engineering blogs to show case the work and iterate using feedback.
