Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a senior engineer to lead the technical design and end-to-end delivery of AI-first observability features. You will collaborate with Product Management, mentor engineers, and drive cross-team alignment on data ingestion, telemetry performance, and platform strategy.

The role requires hands-on Java and React development, deep experience with OpenTelemetry, and the ability to build dashboards and tooling for large telemetry stores at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with leadership exposure.
• Strong API design and service-layer architecture experience.
• Hands-on with OpenTelemetry, tracing, and observability tooling.
• Experience with large-scale data visualization dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and end-to-end delivery of platform features.
• Collaborate with Product Management to align architectural decisions.
