Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Customer Solutions Manager in Herndon, VA to accelerate customers' cloud and AI transformation journeys. You will coordinate AWS teams, design migration strategies, and drive innovative cloud-native solutions that meet customers' highest ambitions.

You will lead discussions with executives and stakeholders, translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans, and ensure successful go-live events and transitions within the customer’s ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leading large-scale technical or engineering programs.
• 4+ years of customer-facing work engaging with customer executives or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business or equivalent.
• Travel up to 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide input on pre- and post-sales approaches to impact customer adoption and commitments.
• Deliver complex technical projects and migration and AI initiatives that have a significant, timely impact on customer outcomes (e.g., cost reductions, accelerated launches, improved efficiencies).
• Conduct deep discovery to design efficient adoption plans, identify acceleration gaps, and solve complex customer business problems.
• Implement and define effective people change management approaches to drive successful cloud journeys.
• Work cross-functionally with AWS service teams to address critical customer requirements.
• Proactively mitigate adoption risks and track realization of customer business cases.
• Share best practices and thought leadership in public forums to advance the cloud ecosystem.
