Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Demand Generation Representative to drive top-of-funnel prospecting and opportunity generation for AWS customers in the North America Sales organization.

You will own outbound and inbound campaigns, partner with Account Teams, and leverage AWS solutions to unlock growth across diverse accounts. The role emphasizes learning and earning in a fast-paced cloud environment, with responsibilities spanning research, qualification, and collaboration to develop

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Sales or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience using Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Work with other sales team members to ensure the opportunity is understood and next steps are clearly defined via demonstrations, discovery, and qualification.
• Utilize product knowledge and internal resources to meet customers’ needs.
• Achieve all input and output goals including: contacts sourced, leads qualified, customer calls complete, meetings scheduled, and opportunities created.
• Drive net new business via outbound campaigns and by qualifying inbound opportunities from marketing and partner channels.
• Expand services breadth and consumption within existing customer base via account planning and territory management.
• Accurately track activity and develop pipeline using Salesforce CRM and reporting tools.
• Innovate new and creative ways to engage with new customers and expand existing relationships.
• Understand the technology footprint, technical challenges, and business objectives of customers.
