Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Sales Cycle Acceleration (SCA) team, aligned to AWS field sales across the western/central United States. You will manage a team of CI/SME professionals, remove adoption barriers, and evangelize cloud differentiation with customers and cross-functional teams.

The role blends business and technical skills, engaging with executives, customers, and internal stakeholders to shape go-to-market strategies and product roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of managing a technical team of solution architects, sales engineers or similar technical roles experience.
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain solutions and tactics that help customers choose AWS from a technical perspective.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in architectural discussions for successful cloud deployment.
• Hire, on-board, train, and develop Solutions Architects from internal and external sources.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop digital campaigns and drive awareness and demand.
