Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Cloud Intelligence Field BDM in the Arlington area to partner with field sales, craft compelling business cases, and differentiate AWS against competitors. You will coach teams, analyze cloud usage trends, and lead high-stakes engagements with executives across industries.

The role requires travel and a blend of business and technology skills to articulate AWS value and close strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
• 5+ years of professional or military experience.
• 5+ years working with Core Cloud Technology Services including Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security or Networking.
• 5+ years in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales or Consulting.
• 5+ years knowledge of Data & AI technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, Storage).
• Experience influencing leadership decisions at the org level.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams and release schedules.
• Experience selling enterprise software or cloud-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable competitive strategies to enable winning key deals.
• Support, coach, and develop large deal closing capability.
• Be the go-to resource for AWS field sales for differentiation.
• Articulate business value of AWS propositions from customer objectives backward.
• Engage with C-level executives to earn trust and influence decisions.
• Support strategic in-person workshops and travel requires.
• Share cloud adoption trends and blockers across the ecosystem.
• Upskill field teams with content and trainings for field use.
• Track signals to provide intelligence for offering improvements.
• Influence internal stakeholders to differentiate AWS value.
