Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Arlington, VA is seeking a Business Development Manager focused on Cloud Intelligence to guide sellers on cloud business and sales strategies, and to serve as a compete liaison to AWS sales teams.

You will translate business needs into cloud outcomes, drive digital transformation at the executive level, and work with Cloud Solution Architects to articulate AWS value. Travel for workshops is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
• Experience influencing leadership decisions at the organizational level.
• Experience explaining complex technical concepts to diverse business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable competitive strategies to enable winning key strategic deals.
• Support, coach, and develop large deal closing capability.
• Be the go-to resource for an AWS field sales segment and sales leadership for AWS differentiation.
• Articulate the business value of AWS offerings to customers, aligning with their strategic objectives.
• Demonstrate ability to earn trust with and influence C-level executives.
• Lead strategic, in-person workshops (travels required).
• Develop and share cloud adoption trends and blockers across the cloud ecosystem.
• Enable field teams through development of field-friendly content and trainings.
