Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking an Infrastructure Automation Intern to learn and contribute to building an enterprise cloud platform. You will work with engineers to automate provisioning, manage hybrid cloud operations, and document runbooks.

You'll gain hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible, write scripts, and participate in sprint planning to optimize self-service cloud offerings.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with foundational programming knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills with eagerness to learn.
• Familiarity with OS concepts (Linux/Windows) and basic networking.

Responsibilities

• Automate Cloud Infrastructure via automated workflows to provision resources.
• Support hybrid cloud operations through monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Document architecture, configuration standards, and deployment runbooks.
• Integrate ITSM tools by scripting workflows connecting cloud infra to systems.
• Collaborate in sprint planning and contribute ideas to improve self-service cloud offerings.
