Job summary

Cox Enterprises in Atlanta is seeking Infrastructure Operations IT Interns to join a team that mentors new talent and exposes you to meaningful, hands-on projects. You’ll work on Linux and Windows server builds on-premise and in the Cloud, contributing to real-world IT initiatives.

You’ll gain exposure to Terraform and Ansible, cloud concepts from Azure and AWS, and a multi‑platform environment while receiving guidance from a dedicated program mentor and collaborating with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE/CIS/MIS or related with GPA ≥ 3.0
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with desktop and mobile devices
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; professional demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working independently and relying on judgment

Responsibilities

• Contribute to creation of documents supporting new processes and designs
• Assist in data collection and analysis for upper management presentations
• Support build-out of Linux/Windows servers on-premise and in the Cloud
• Help discover and implement new cloud tools and cloud operations concepts
• Perform introductory Linux/Windows admin tasks under supervision
• Assist with basic database admin tasks (Oracle/SQL) under supervision
