Job summary

DSV seeks a Manager, Cloud Freight Operations to lead the Cloud Operations for the Road US division. You will oversee carrier sales, dispatch, and dedicated lane operations while developing leaders and optimizing high-risk freight execution.

Reporting to the General Manager, Cloud Operations, you will drive improvements in capacity, pricing, service levels, and cross-functional collaboration with account management, P&O, and finance to meet budgets and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in freight brokerage, transportation operations, 3PL, or related field.
• 3+ years of people leadership in transportation, logistics, brokerage, dispatch, or account management.
• Experience with HRHV, time-sensitive or specialized freight preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Cloud Operations across carrier sales and dispatch and dedicated lane operations.
• Coach and develop managers and individual contributors, with clear expectations and performance standards.
• Staffing, workload management, and cross-team collaboration to execute operational plans.
• Translate priorities into actionable, measurable results across teams.
• Monitor performance and identify capacity constraints, service risks, and issues needing leadership attention.
• Oversee HRHV freight execution ensuring service, security and shipment requirements.
• Manage customer relationships and act as escalation point for complex issues.
• Support new customer implementations and business opportunities with staffing and SOP alignment.
