Job summary

One Call is seeking a Cloud FinOps & Technology Cost Strategy Manager who owns cloud and technology financial management across our multi-cloud, SaaS, and on-premises portfolio. This hands-on leadership role operates the FinOps function, manages cost tooling, billing data, and executive reporting while shaping the long-term cost strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, CS, Information Systems, Engineering, or related disciplines or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience in technology, finance, cloud cost management, infrastructure, or FinOp, including 3+ years in a dedicated cloud financial management or FinOps capacity.
• Hands-on ownership of cloud cost management platforms (Vantage, Apptio, Cloudability, Flexera, CloudHealth, CloudZero, or comparable) across at least two major public clouds; OCI experience advantageous.
• Experience establishing tagging standards, allocation taxonomy, and chargeback, or show back models in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with SaaS management platforms (Zylo, Productiv, Torii, or comparable) or enterprise environment software license optimization preferred.
• FinOps Certified Practitioner required; FinOps Certified Professional and regulated or healthcare-adjacent industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cost Visibility, Allocation & Reporting: Operates cloud cost management platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI; extends to data/AI services; maintains inventory, license/utilization, and renewal calendar visibility; builds cost dashboards and executive views; produces monthly/quarterly cost reporting.
• Optimization & Commitment Strategy: Identifies and drives cost optimization; manages reservations and discounts; partners with teams to realize outcomes; supports renewal negotiations; tracks optimization outcomes vs targets.
• Forecasting & Finance Partnership: Builds cost forecasts with documented methodology; partners on annual budget development; establishes intake-cost estimation for new projects; performs multi-year projections and TCoO analyses.
• FinOps Practice, Governance & Cost Strategy: Establishes FinOps operating model; develops governance for AI/ML consumption; enables FinOps maturity; contributes to longer-range technology strategy; promotes FinOps best practices.
