Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Data Engineering Manager to design and build the firm’s cloud-based data platform, enabling analytics, reporting, applications, and AI. You will lead a team, define standards, and coordinate with Data Science & AI and IT Operations to deliver scalable data products.

Candidates should have a strong background in data ingestion, transformation, and cloud environments (Azure/AWS), and be able to communicate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical

Qualifications

• The role requires leading a data engineering or related technical team.
• Strong skills in SQL and data modeling for analytics and AI.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all Data Engineering staff.
• Provide technical and architectural leadership for the data platform.
• Define and promote data engineering standards across the firm.
• Plan, deploy, and manage data engineering initiatives and projects.
• Collaborate with Data Science & AI teams and IT operations.
