Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP seeks a Data Engineering Manager to lead the design and build-out of the firm’s cloud-based data platform, establishing scalable data foundations for analytics, reporting, applications, and AI.

You will align with Data Science & AI, Information Design & Engineering, IT Operations, and business leaders to set engineering standards, govern data quality, and deliver secure, well-documented data products with measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Lead the design and build-out of the firm’s cloud-based data platform to support analytics, reporting, applications, and AI.
• Define and promote data engineering standards, quality, and reliability across the firm.
• Collaborate with Data Science & AI, Information Design & Engineering, IT Operations, and business leaders to translate needs into platform improvements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all Data Engineering personnel and foster their professional growth.
• Ensure scalable, maintainable data pipelines with proper documentation and access controls.
• Lead planning, deployment and ongoing management of data engineering initiatives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
