Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to maintain the heartbeat of AWS’s global cloud infrastructure. You will perform server rack installations, hardware repair, and network diagnostics to ensure continuous service availability across multiple data centers.

The role requires on-call rotations and the ability to travel between sites as needed, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This position is based in Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

• Experience in computer networking.
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience working in data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform server rack installations, hardware break-fix, and troubleshoot network issues to maintain service availability.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform on-call duties and participate in maintenance and change management.
• Contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives.
• Help interview, train and onboard new team members.
