Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking Data Center Technicians to support our customers in multiple locations. This role helps ensure availability and reliability of data center operations, including hardware and network diagnostics and repairs, with potential on-call rotation.

Candidates should be able to work independently or in a team, often in a 24/7 environment. The position may involve installation, documentation, and process improvements to support AWS data centers.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ year of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

Responsibilities

• Meet SLA targets for assigned trouble tickets via directed workflow.
• Serve as first line for hardware troubleshooting and technical issues.
• Perform routine server hardware and OS/network related repairs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete tasks and improve processes.
• Adhere to security and safety best practices in the data center.
