Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our AWS team. You will install equipment, perform hardware repairs, and troubleshoot network issues in a 24/7 data center environment, with travel between sites as needed.

You’ll contribute to documentation and drive process improvements while supporting critical infrastructure that powers AWS services. Applicants should have a high school diploma and 1+ years in hardware troubleshooting; be able to work flexible shifts

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 1+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performing server rack installations and hardware break-fix on various components.
• Troubleshooting network issues and responding to operational incidents that affect service availability.
• Serving as a primary contact point for internal/external stakeholders and vendors.
• Participating in on-call duties and scheduled maintenance/change management.
• Contributing to documentation and process improvements.
