Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to install hardware, troubleshoot servers, and manage complex data-center operations across 24/7 shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or IT experience.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and nights.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of network design, protocols and Layer 1/2 troubleshooting.
• Experience with data centers and ticketing systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix; troubleshoot network issues.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• On-call duties and participate in maintenance and change management.
• Contribute to documentation and process improvements.
• Train and onboard new team members.
