Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to maintain our global infrastructure. You will perform server rack installations, hardware repairs, and network troubleshooting to ensure continuous service for AWS customers.

This role requires travel between data centers, on‑call shifts, and the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. You will collaborate with engineers, software developers, vendors, and contractors, supporting change management and documentation

Qualifications

• 18+ months of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience.
• 18+ months of computer layer 1/2 networking experience (including troubleshooting and repair).

Responsibilities

• Install servers, perform hardware repairs, troubleshoot networks, and fix incidents to keep AWS services available.
• Serve as primary contact for engineers, developers, vendors, and contractors.
• On-call duties and participate in maintenance and change management.
• Help interview, train, and onboard new team members.
