Job summary

Meta seeks an experienced Production Platform Engineer to own compute, storage, and GPU platforms in our data centers. Qualifications

• 7+ years of server hardware experience in internet operations or hardware design/test validation.
• Experience triaging and debugging server platforms.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience with NPI server platform development.
• Strong documentation and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for compute, storage, and GPU platforms in Meta's production data centers.
• Owner end-to-end lifecycle of hardware platforms from deployment to decommissioning.
• Drive investigations across Hardware, Software/Firmware, Networking and Power & Cooling.
• Collaborate with HW Engineering, Release-to-Production, and Systems Integration teams.
• Provide proactive alerts and fixes to operations teams; build feedback to engineering.
