Meta seeks an experienced hardware engineering professional to lead server hardware initiatives across data center fleets and cloud capacity. You will diagnose systemic issues, collaborate with engineering, tooling, and provisioning teams, and drive end-to-end lifecycle support for next‑gen platforms.

The role emphasizes identifying telemetry-driven improvements, partnering with cross‑functional teams, and ensuring reliability and availability across Meta's production environments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/CE or related field.
• BS/BA in electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering or equivalent hardware-engineering experience.
• 10+ years of server hardware experience in internet operations or design/test validation.
• Experience triaging and debugging hardware platforms.
• Familiarity with NPI server platform development.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience mentoring technicians/engineers.
• Proven ability to document technical information for users at all levels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across organizational levels.
• Experience building relationships with customers and vendors.
• Expertise in leveraging large data sets to improve hardware decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as SME for compute, storage, and accelerator platforms in data centers and cloud capacity.
• Act as deep escalation point for cloud hardware issues and drive investigations to resolution.
• Identify systemic hardware issues within and across cloud providers.
• Represent Meta's reliability and serviceability to cloud providers with evidence-based dialogue.
• Apply cloud findings to Meta's platform work to accelerate diagnosis.
• Provide end-to-end lifecycle support for hardware platforms and new tech.
• Drive global investigations spanning hardware, software/firmware, networking, and power & cooling.
• Analyze health of the global server fleet to proactively mitigate issues.
• Collaborate with HW Engineering, Release to Production, and Systems Integration to mass-produce new platforms.
• Identify risks early in new hardware programs and contribute test methods.
