Qualifications

• 4+ years of Information Technology (IT) experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 2+ years of people management experience
• 2+ years of operations and on-call support for data center facilities, mission critical plants, or production facilities experience
• Certifications in applicable fields like A+, Net+, Sec+, CCNA, LPIC, Linux+, AWS certification, or Network+/Security+ preferred

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators
• Manage the performance of diverse teams of data center operation professionals across locations
• Develop career paths for employees and update internal tools
• Recruit and train data technicians to ensure staffing levels
• Manage day-to-day data center operations including queue management and 24/7 shift arrangements
• Act as subject matter expert across all data center operations areas
• Ensure operational KPIs and metrics are measured and met
• Lead process improvements, technology innovation and automation
• Manage Large Scale Events (outages) and act as call leader
• Improve workflows and throughput for data center operations
• Oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and SLAs
• Maintain on-call schedule for absences and vacations
• Strive to improve customer experience
