Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Customer Engineer in Cloud AI to partner with technical sales teams and accelerate adoption of complex workloads. You will develop prototypes, proofs-of-concept, and demos, translating customer needs into practical, scalable solutions while collaborating with product and engineering teams.

You will solve AI-centered customer challenges and provide feedback to influence product development, with strong emphasis on communication and customer impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of cloud native architecture experience in a customer-facing or support role.
• Experience with machine learning model development or deployment.
• Experience with AI agent orchestration frameworks and integrating models into autonomous workflows via API prompting or RAG.
• Experience engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical win for complex workloads within Cloud AI to ensure rapid adoption.
• Combine sales strategies with prototyping to provide customer-tailored solutions.
• Provide deep technical consultation and build lasting customer relationships.
• Contribute to reusable solutions with the Go-To-Market team.
• Document and prioritize customer feature requests with Product/Engineering.
