Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Practice Customer Engineer with a specialty in Cloud AI to partner with technical sales teams and accelerate wins for complex workloads. You will write code to develop prototypes, proofs-of-concept, and demos, solving AI-centered customer challenges while influencing product direction.

You will engage customers, understand requirements, and present practical solutions that blend sales strategy with technical engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of cloud native architecture experience in a customer-facing or support role.
Experience with ML model development or deployment.
Experience with AI agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen), agentic design patterns, or integrating models into autonomous workflows via advanced API prompting or RAG.
Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

Responsibilities

Drive the technical win for complex workloads within Cloud AI to ensure rapid adoption, supporting the sales cycle from technical evaluation to ramp.
Combine sales strategies with development to provide customer-tailored solutions that secure buy-in from domain experts.
Provide deep technical consultation to customers as a technical advisor and build lasting relationships.
Leverage learnings to contribute to reusable solutions and assets with the Go-To-Market team.
Document, prioritize and drive resolution of customer feature requests and issues with Product and Engineering.
