Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Closing Manager to lead club operations, especially Recovery, Utility and Perishable departments, and to act as Manager on Duty as needed. You will coach teams, uphold GOLD standards, and ensure a premium member experience during closing shifts.

The role requires ServSafe certification, a proactive leader mindset, and the ability to manage overnight prep and training in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable operations preferred.
• SERV Safe certification required.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, when MOD, Recovery, Utility, and Perishable departments to ensure all areas are clean, stocked, and ready for morning open.
• Provide leadership and direction within the club and drive club performance.
• Audit compliance and collaborate with Business Partners; onboard, certify, and train to ensure food safety and operational excellence.
