Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Closing Manager to lead club operations, manage the Recovery, Utility and Perishables teams, and ensure daily compliance with GOLD standards and customer service expectations.

The role includes oversight of closing activities, training, and safety protocols across shifts. Qualified candidates have 2 years in retail or perishable operations, forklift certification, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable operations required.
• Experience in managing inventory turnover and waste reduction strategies.
• Forklift Certification required.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Email) required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee closing operations for Recovery, Utility, Perishables, and overnight prep.
• Lead and develop closing team and ensure policy compliance and guest service.
• Ensure club standards are met and monitor daily performance and profitability.
