Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Closing Manager to lead club-level operations and direct the Recovery, Utility, and Perishables teams. You will supervise the Closing Manager on duty and ensure daily execution of GOLD standards, exceptional member service, and compliance with policies.

The role includes overseeing training, audits, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver a premium shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable operations required.
• Forklift Certification required.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-of-day closing operations for assigned departments to ensure readiness for morning opening.
• Supervise and coach the Assistant Closing Manager, Recovery team and Utility team.
• Maintain Gold Standards and ensure policy compliance across the club.
• Drive accuracy in pricing, inventory, safety, and sanitation; enforce food safety standards.
