Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Closing Manager to lead club operations, guide the Recovery and Utility teams, and ensure top-tier member service.

You will supervise daily closing activities, uphold food safety through ServSafe and related trainings, and coordinate with Club leadership for a seamless day end-to-day flow. The role includes acting as Manager on Duty as needed, auditing compliance, and driving performance toward planed KPIs.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable operations.
• Forklift certification required.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Recovery, Utility, Perishables, and Overnight prep to ensure readiness for morning open.
• Walk the floor during closing hours to engage with Members and team performance.
• Maintain GOLD Standards: GAA and LAST across all areas of the club.
• Validate registers are open, perishable stations are attended, and service areas are functional at close.
