Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Chesterfield, MO is seeking a Closing Manager to lead evening operations and drive club performance across departments. You will oversee the Recovery, Perishables, and Utility teams, provide guidance and coaching, and ensure high standards and a safe, member-friendly environment.

The role requires ServSafe Food Safety Certification, forklift operation, and strong leadership to maintain daily GOLD standards and achieve peak club performance.

Qualifications

• Open shift availability required.
• Experience with inventory turnover and waste reduction.
• Strong leadership and team coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own end-of-day execution for closing operations across multiple departments.
• Lead by presence on the shop floor during closing hours to engage Members and staff.
• Maintain GOLD Standards and ensure departments are clean, stocked, and ready for the next day.
• Coach onboarding and certifications (ServSafe training) for team members.
• Partner with Club Manager and Department Leads to improve closing routines and member experience.
