Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Closing Manager to lead evening operations and drive club performance in Kentucky. You will oversee the Recovery, Utility, and Perishables teams, ensuring safety, quality and timely execution while maintaining GOLD standards.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with Club and Department Leaders, and uphold training, certification and audit requirements. The role requires ServSafe certification, forklift familiarity, and a strong focus on customer experience and

Qualifications

2 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable operations required.
Forklift Certification required.
Open shift availability required.

Responsibilities

Own end-of-day execution for Recovery, Utility, Perishables and Overnight prep to ensure readiness for morning open.
Lead by presence and manage Closing Manager, Recovery and Utility teams to ensure safety and performance.
Ensure departments are clean, stocked, and ready for the next day; monitor compliance with GOLD standards and safety procedures.
Coach onboarding and certifications; reinforce ServSafe and department-specific training.
