Rutgers University Correctional Health Care is seeking a Full Time UCHC Technician I for the Adult Diagnostic Treatment Center located in Avenel, NJ. The UCHC Technician I participates as a member of the clinical and administrative medical team at the prison, performing vital signs, assisting with procedures, obtaining specimens, and helping maintain equipment and supplies in the Health Service Unit.

This role requires CMA/EMT/CNA certification, CPR, and a valid driver’s license with reliable

Qualifications

• Valid CMA, EMT, or CNA certification.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and transportation to multiple sites.

Responsabilités

• Takes vital signs, height and weight and documents in EMR.
• Assists physician/AP with procedures and prepares inmate for examinations.
• Obtains specimen collection and handling, including drawing blood.
• Assists with cleaning, sterilization and securing of equipment in Health Service Unit.
• Maintains supply stock by ordering and aggregating medication orders to pharmacy.
