Clinical Support Specialist (Finance)

Job Description:

In this role, the Clinical Support Specialist works cooperatively with administrative and clinical staff to manage client communication and needs, both on the phone and in person. Responsibilities include processing referrals efficiently, scheduling appointments accurately, providing prescriber support as approved, and overseeing client records from data entry to archiving.

Schedule Details:

Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Wyomissing, PA

Pay Rate:

$17/hour

Job Functions:

1. Process all new referrals and verify insurance eligibility
2. Transmit referral information to appropriate agency personnel
3. Enter referral data into electronic records
4. Schedule court-ordered evaluations

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience: One year in a medical, mental health, or professional office setting including customer service and data entry
• Licensure/Certifications: None required
• Clearances: Child Abuse, Criminal, and Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list verification

Note:

Additional related experience or education may be substituted at the discretion of the Personnel Officer.
