Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to lead store teams in delivering exceptional optical care and sales results. You will supervise clinical operations, train technicians, and act as Manager on Duty to meet daily goals in a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor staff, ensure HIPAA compliance, manage patient records, and drive patient satisfaction and revenue through effective service and product guidance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience or experience in a clinical leadership role.
• An associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer/patient care and a willingness to mentor and train others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, and other basic office tools.
• Optical or clinical experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• As Clinical Services Manager, supervise and support the store team to meet clinical goals with guidance from Clinical Operations.
• Act as Manager on Duty to achieve store goals and support operational and sales targets.
• greet patients, identify needs, and explain products and services to drive sales.
• Provide supervision and guidance to Doctor’s Technicians on diagnostic testing and contact lens care.
• Ensure adherence to training guidelines, procedures, protocols, and HIPAA-compliant standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and store brand standards, including housekeeping.
• Coach and train staff on inserting/removing contact lenses and lens protocols.
• Oversee contact lens orders, trials, and inventory on a weekly basis.
