Job summary

Stanton Optical in Spring, TX is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to supervise the store team and lead clinical goals under the guidance of the Clinical Operations Department.

You will often serve as Manager on Duty to help achieve store targets, coach Doctor Technicians on diagnostic testing, refraction, lens care, and patient instruction, and ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience or clinical leadership role.
• Associate degree or higher or enrolled in a comparable program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer/patient care and willingness to mentor others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, and other basic office tools.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and identify needs to provide information on products and services.
• Drive sales to meet revenue goals while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Resolve customer issues and train team on troubleshooting techniques.
• Supervise Doctor Technicians on diagnostic testing, local mode and refraction, lens care and PEG standards.
• Ensure training guidelines, procedures, protocols, and clinical standards are executed at a high level.
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records with confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Ensure store brand standards and basic housekeeping duties are performed.
• Coach Doctor Technicians and cross-trained staff on lens insertion/removal.
• Oversee contact lens orders and diagnostic lens trials and weekly inventory.
