Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to supervise the store team, support the Brand Manager, and meet clinical goals with guidance from the Clinical Operations Department. You will also act as the Manager on Duty to help achieve overall store goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will drive patient care quality, ensure confidentiality, and oversee training for Doctor Technicians in diagnostic testing and contact lens care.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience or experience in a clinical leadership role.
• An associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer/patient care and a willingness to mentor and train others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, and other basic office tools.
• Optical or clinical experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients entering the store and identify needs to provide information on products and services.
• Drive sales to meet daily, weekly, and monthly revenue goals while delivering outstanding service.
• Resolve customer issues and improve satisfaction through proper troubleshooting and staff training.
• Supervise Doctors Technicians on Diagnostic Pre-Testing, Local Mode, Digital Refraction, and Contact Lens care.
• Ensure training guidelines, procedures, and certification requirements are followed at the highest level.
• Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA confidentiality.
• Uphold store brand standards and perform basic housekeeping when needed.
• Coach and train staff on proper insertion/removal of contact lenses and inventory management.
