Job summary

Stanton Optical in Tomball, TX seeks a Clinical Services Manager to supervise the store team and meet clinical goals under guidance from the Clinical Operations Department. You will often act as Manager on Duty to support overall store operations and sales targets.

Responsibilities include coaching Doctor Technicians on diagnostic pre-testing, digital refraction, and contact lens care, maintaining patient records under HIPAA, and upholding PEG clinical standards and brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience or experience in a clinical leadership role.
• An associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer/patient care and a willingness to mentor and train others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, and other basic office tools.
• Optical or clinical experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and identify needs to provide information on products and services.
• Drive sales to achieve store revenue goals while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Resolve customer issues and train the team on troubleshooting techniques.
• Supervise Doctor Technicians on Diagnostic Pre-Testing, Local Mode and Digital Refraction, Contact Lens care and PEG standards.
• Ensure training guidelines, procedures, protocols, and certification requirements are followed.
• Maintain accurate patient records with HIPAA compliance.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain store brand standards.
• Coach and train Doctor Technicians and cross-trained staff on contact lens procedures.
• Oversee proper protocols for patient contact lens orders and diagnostic lens inventory weekly.
