Job summary

Stanton Optical, a fast-growing optical retailer, seeks a Clinical Services Manager to supervise store teams and ensure clinical goals are met under guidance from the Clinical Operations Department. You may also serve as Manager on Duty to drive store performance and sales.

You will train Doctor Technicians, manage patient records per HIPAA, and uphold brand standards while delivering exceptional patient care in a on-site store environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience or experience in a clinical leadership role.
• An associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer/patient care and a willingness to mentor and train others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, and other basic office tools.
• Optical or clinical experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients as they enter the store and identify needs with clear information on products and services.
• Drive sales to exceed personal and store revenue goals while delivering excellent customer service.
• Resolve issues and train the team on troubleshooting techniques to increase satisfaction.
• Provide supervision and guidance to Doctor's Technicians on Diagnostic Pre-Testing and Digital Refraction.
• Ensure training guidelines and clinical standards from Physicians Eyecare Group are followed.
• Maintain accurate patient records with HIPAA confidentiality.
• Ensure store brand standards and basic housekeeping duties when necessary.
• Coach Doctor Technicians on proper insertion/removal of contact lenses for wearers.
• Oversee protocols for contact lens orders and trials and manage inventory weekly.
