Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to lead the store's clinical team and ensure patients receive quality care while meeting sales and operational goals.

You will partner with the Brand Manager, train Doctor Technicians, ensure HIPAA-compliant records, and act as Manager on Duty to support daily performance.

This role requires strong leadership, coaching, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management or clinical leadership.
• An associate's degree or advanced certification; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Strong communication skills in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Passion for exceptional patient care and willingness to mentor and train others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, and other basic office tools.
• Optical or clinical experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store team to meet clinical goals with guidance from Clinical Operations.
• Act as Manager on Duty to achieve store goals and support daily operations.
• Greet patients and identify needs, explain products and services available.
• Drive sales while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Resolve customer issues and train team on troubleshooting techniques.
• Oversee Doctor Technicians on Diagnostic Pre-Testing, Local Mode, Digital Refraction, and contact lens care.
• Ensure training guidelines, procedures, and clinical standards are followed.
• Maintain accurate patient records with HIPAA confidentiality.
