Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to supervise the store team and ensure clinical goals align with the Clinical Operations Department.

You will act as Manager on Duty to meet store objectives, guide Doctor Technicians, and maintain patient records in line with HIPAA while delivering excellent patient care and service.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, ensuring training standards, and driving sales with a patient-first approach in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience or experience in a clinical leadership role.
• An associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer/patient care and a willingness to mentor and train others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, and other basic office tools.
• Optical or clinical experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and identify needs to provide information on products and services.
• Drive sales to meet daily, weekly, and monthly revenue goals with outstanding service.
• Resolve customer issues and train the team on troubleshooting techniques.
• Supervise Doctor Technicians on Pre-Testing, Local Mode and Digital Refraction, Contact Lens care, and PEG standards.
• Ensure training guidelines and clinical standards are executed and HIPAA confidentiality is maintained.
