Job summary

Abbott Laboratories seeks a Screening Solutions Specialist to optimize diagnostic screening platforms for healthcare customers. You will guide implementation, validation, and ongoing performance of screening solutions in clinical and laboratory settings, analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and deliver end-user training.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure regulatory and quality compliance, document issues, and contribute to product enhancements through hands-on field support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field.
• Certifications in clinical laboratory science (e.g., MLS/MT) preferred.
• Familiarity with FDA/CLIA regulations.
• Training in quality systems or ISO standards a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject-matter expert on Abbott screening platforms and assays.
• Support implementation, validation, and optimization of screening solutions at customer sites.
• Analyze screening performance data and recommend improvements.
• Train clinicians and lab staff on instruments, workflows, and best practices.
• Collaborate with sales, R&D, and support teams to address customer needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
• Document issues, solutions, and feedback to inform product enhancements.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to advance new screening technologies.
