Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Scheduler to coordinate routine and non-routine medical services with local providers for an assigned patient population in an outpatient setting. The role includes front desk operations, reception, scheduling, and data upkeep for clinician teams.

On-site positions at Irving, TX and Fairfax, VA, offering opportunities to support clinical scheduling for trials and ensure accurate patient and provider information while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelor's degree and/or certificate program preferred
• Three years of medical clinic administrative or medical scheduling experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Daily confirmation of all on-site clinic and off-site appointments
• Receive, screen and coordinate telephone calls from healthcare providers
• Assist with maintaining and updating all provider addresses and phone numbers
• Receive incoming correspondence and review/forward to appropriate staff
• Perform administrative duties including phones, faxing and filing
• Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
• Obtain patient information at admission and assist in filling out forms
• Make and distribute daily schedules for doctors and staff
• Maintain and update physician and patient data
• Manage the front desk operations
• Support research staff by coordinating clinical scheduling for clinical trial participants
• Other duties as assigned
