Work Flexibility: Remote

This role is responsible for selling the company’s products, focusing on finding, generating, and developing new distribution and retail partners to sell to end-users. Responsibilities include new account development and expanding existing accounts within the distribution or retail sales channels, creating awareness and demand for products. Customers may be geographic or named accounts. This is a highly specialized individual contributor role requiring deep expertise and a professional or technical thought leadership in the respective field. The position typically requires extensive experience in a specialized discipline, an advanced degree or equivalent, and good analytical skills for evaluating complex situations. The role demands filtering, prioritizing, analyzing, and validating complex and dynamic information. Generally, a degree or equivalent and at least 6 years of experience are required.

Job Description

This position aims to meet strategic business objectives through managing key account development, surgeon training, education initiatives, product launches, and sales team skill development. It involves maintaining and expanding customer relationships. Detailed job responsibilities include:

  1. Develop, implement, and monitor strategic sales training initiatives within Upper Extremities.
  2. Identify and convert target surgeons with the help of DOSs, RSMs, and Sales Reps through dedicated training.
  3. Develop training curriculum and content, and execute in-field and headquarters training initiatives along with sales enablement.
  4. Prioritize and carry out field-based training activities and medical education events for customers and sales teams.
  5. Build professional relationships with physicians, key customers, and accounts.
  6. Collaborate with R&D and Marketing to identify future product needs and maximize project impacts.
  7. Work with the Medical Education team to develop courses and training programs, and execute at Medical Education events.
  8. Participate actively in team and leadership meetings, virtually or in person.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business or medical preferred); advanced degree is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Preferred 2+ years of sales management experience or proven leadership in sales goals achievement.
  • Proficiency in current office technologies (MS Office, databases, etc.).

Travel Percentage: 40%
