Job Title: Sales and Training Specialist

Work Flexibility: Remote

This role involves selling the company's products, focusing on finding, generating, and developing new distribution and retail partners to sell to end-users. Responsibilities include new account development, expanding existing accounts within distribution or retail channels, and creating awareness and demand for our products. Customers may be geographic or named accounts.

This is a highly specialized individual contributor role requiring deep expertise in a professional or technical field, typically requiring extensive experience and an advanced degree or equivalent. The role provides technical guidance within a specific discipline and demands good analytical skills, evaluative judgment, and the ability to handle complex or dynamic material. A minimum of 6 years of experience and a relevant degree are typically required.

Job Description

This position aims to meet strategic business objectives through managing key account development, surgeon training and education, targeted product launches, and supporting sales representatives in skill development, customer relationship management, and customer base expansion.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Develop, implement, and monitor strategic sales training initiatives within Upper Extremities.
  2. Identify and convert target surgeons through collaboration with DOSs, RSMs, and Sales Reps.
  3. Create curriculum and content for in-field and headquarters training, enhancing sales enablement.
  4. Organize field training activities and medical education events for sales force and customers.
  5. Build professional relationships with physicians, key customers, and accounts.
  6. Collaborate with R&D and Marketing to identify future product needs and maximize project impact.
  7. Work with Medical Education to develop courses, curriculums, and execute training objectives at events.
  8. Participate actively in team and leadership meetings, virtually or in-person.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business or medical preferred); advanced degree is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Preferably, 2+ years of sales management experience or demonstrated leadership in sales goals.
  • Proficiency with office technologies (MS Office, databases, etc.).
