Job description

Work Flexibility: Remote

This role involves selling the company's products, focusing on finding, generating, and developing new distribution and retail partners to increase sales to end-users. Responsibilities include new account development, expanding existing accounts within distribution or retail channels, and creating awareness and demand for the products. Customers may be geographic or named accounts. This is a highly specialized individual contributor role requiring deep expertise and a professional or technical thought leader in their field. The position typically requires extensive experience, an advanced degree or equivalent, and expertise within a discipline. The role provides technical guidance and requires good analytical skills and evaluative judgment in complex situations. Typically, a degree or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of experience are required.

Job Description

This position is responsible for achieving strategic business unit objectives through managing key account development, surgeon training and education, targeted product launches, and engaging with sales teams to develop skills, maintain relationships, and expand the customer base. Detailed responsibilities include:

  1. Develop and monitor strategic sales product training initiatives within Upper Extremities.
  2. Identify and convert target surgeons through sales training and development with DOSs, RSMs, and Sales Reps.
  3. Create curriculum and content, and implement training initiatives and sales enablement programs.
  4. Prioritize and execute field training activities and medical education events.
  5. Build professional relationships with physicians and key accounts.
  6. Collaborate with R&D and Marketing to identify future product needs and maximize project impact.
  7. Partner with Medical Education to develop and implement training courses and curricula.
  8. Participate actively in team and leadership meetings, virtually or in-person.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business or medical preferred) or equivalent; advanced degree a plus.
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • 2+ years of sales management experience or demonstrated leadership in achieving sales goals.
  • Proficiency with office technologies (MS Office, databases, etc.).

Travel Percentage: 40%
